Haven’t posted pix in a bit, so here are some cool fish that I’ve seen recently!
Red Eye Blue Platies! Only the males had red eyes…
Red Veil Swordtail – This was one of the progeny from a cross between X. montezumae male and a domestic Red Lyre Swordtail female

Ctenopoma petherici at about 3″
1/2″ long baby Ctenopoma that came in as a contaminant from
Caecilian feeding frenzy!
There are 3 different species in this medusa’s mess. Typhlonectes natans, typhlonectes compressicauda, and an unidentified species with wrinkly skin.
Breeding like rabbits
Unidentified Ancistrus sp. This guy is flattish, lots of bright spots on the body, but have no information on origin unfortunately.
Synaptolaemus latofasciatus (or cingulatis is the current correct name). Cool candy cane leporinus, pretty argumentative with each other.
